Help In Configuring My BSNL FTTH With Syrotech ONT

I've a BSNL FTTH (Mysore Division), please help me in the configuration with Syrotech G/EPON ONU.

I've MI R3P Pro router running OpenWRT, So I need the ONU to be in Bridge Mode.

Go to network and change the mode from route to bridge on the ont. Make sure the ports are enabled for binding.

Getting error in authentication.

I think Mac Binding is in place. @varkey I think you faced the same issue? I guess.

Try copying the mac id of onu into the router.

The issue persist with the PON device Mac address not being whitelisted in the OLT.
I had the opposite issue where MAC binding did not let me use transparent vlan bridge mode in my TP-LINK ARCHER C6.So, I had to use VLAN tagging.The LCO is really dumb.
Ask your LCO,he has the solution.Ask your LCO to reset Mac binding or restart the OLT.
It usually makes OLT to re-authenticate the ONT.Just a guess as I have seen this happen.

I'm from suburban area, so BSNL has given me the connection.

Talked with them about this, seems they have little to no knowledge on this area.

Ask them for the person who handles the most technical stuff and talk to the SDO (Broadband).Ask him for Mac reset.This person will know it.

Yeah, most of them are on not available mine is a redzone so.

The authentication works just fine with old ONT, any ways to spoof the mac address?
