Help me decide ....best mobile under 15K(detailed feature requirements inside)

Hi forumers,

I m looking for a mobile with the following features:

1. 3g
2. good sound quality
3. fm radio
4. lots of storage, could be built-in or expandable(2gb +)
5. large screen with decent resolution(at least 2.4")
6.should not be slow, specially when its fully loaded with songs, vids and/or movies.
7.wi-fi with a decent browser
8.a decent 2 MP camera will do.

My budget is about 14k (i can extend upto 16k max.)
i know i am asking for a lot,and i have zeroed in on a few models based on my requirements but all have one or the other feature missing:

1. HTC S710(no 3g, no fm) Rs. 14k
2. HTC 3550(no 3g, underpowered CPU, so could be a bit slow) Rs. 14.5k
3.Nokia N91 8GB(I am not a nokia fan, has everything i need, not sure abt reliability, read in the reveiews that hangs a lot & gets slower as the hard disk gets filled up)Rs.13k
4. Nokia N81 8GB(has everything, but I am not sure whether it can handle a fully loaded storage without getting slow) Rs. 15k

Need your help in making a decision. Any suggestions, clarifications welcome.
 
Yup E series are the best phone with loaded features for this price. You could also look for Nokia E51, comes at about 11-12 k has everything & 3g @ 3.6Mbps speed ! - i couldn't find a better one in this range, so now i actually own this phone.But as mentioned by you nokia phone can be a little slower compared to other phones
 
Nokia E65, best suited to ur requirements.

I considered E65, but I think it has an ARM9 processor @ 220 Mhz which seems a little underpowered. Screen is 2.2" (i want at least 2.4") plus my friend has one & she told me that it has hanging problem(switches off on its own).

So if u want to view PORN(oops..VIDEOS=PORN) on big screen, then I would suggest u to go for HTC, during lecture we collect 3~4 phones ranging from N73 to HTC(Best combination-> HTC+ N73+ N95) and play porn on full screen, different genre on different cellphones. Those addicted to Blondy stuff may concentrate on 1st one, desi on other two, last one is reserved for South Indian Ammas!

sorry Chinmay,good joke (VIDEOS=PORN) :hysterical: but I have a 19" LCD @ home to watch all kinds of videos including porn if I want to. But my objective of buying a mobile with large screen is not watching porn but watching & sharing movies & music videos with my friends. You know i spend abt 3 hrs commuting to work on bus everyday & I would like to have a device which lets me watch some wholesome entertaining stuff(not porn, e.g. i am a big fan of the sitcom F.R.I.E.N.D.S, I have the whole 10 seasons on my pc) and make my commute pleasurable. Hope I make myself clear now, buddy! :thumb:
 

Nokia N81 seems to be the one i will bank on, see it has everything u need, It has got a wonderful screen and 8 GB memory to fill all your stuffs.And regarding problems, u have to blame to user too..what i have seen from my experiance is that, mostly if u dont take care of your mobile( sharing files using bluetooth etc) u will end u with virus which will eventually effect the reliablity of your mobile.And mind you!! Symbians r most prone to virus.Yes one of my frind has a N91..it is a wonderful music gadget, but downside is that its very heavy and u cant easily find N91 spare parts in the market.

Thanks man. I know abt the virus threat on mobiles & precautionary measures & even I'd prefer N81 over N91, but I need a proper feedback from someone who has used it for few months before I make up my mind.(and anyways I am not a fan of nokia or the symbian OS) Searching on the net, I found mixed reviews, most reviews say that the build quality is not good, wi-fi is choppy & of course i couldn't find any reviews that talks abt the impact on performance when you have 8GB of data loaded on it. It would be of gr8 help if u could get a feedback from someone who has been using N81 8GB.
 
hey buddy!! u can check with some members in "Nokia N81 "community in orkut..u can asks for their feedback..There u can find people who r using or have used N81.
