Help me decide ....best mobile under 15K(detailed feature requirements inside)

Dude I have hell a lot of experiences with Nokia phones...when I was in college I used to buy a new Nokia every 5-6 months and what I have noticed all Nokia phones with not-so-developed firmware (newly released phones) have lots of bugs (release that is lower than 2.0.X) and that's what makes these phones hang and slow down when they are loaded to the max...but with regular updates of firmware those issues are resolved compeletly...If you have firmware in series of 4.XX.XXX then hanging issue is rare of the rarest phenomenon...and state of 6.X.XX is difficult to achieve which makes OS perfecly suited for the phone...All I want to say is If you have 3. something firmware for N81 then go for it...it won't hang and it won't slow down that much after being fully loaded !:cool2:

if u increase ur budget by 2 or 3k, N95 can be urs! DOnt compare it to N96 or iPhone, but still amazing phone!
well, for that price I could even get a second hand iPhone (non 3g). But as I have already mentioned, i can strech only upto 16k max.

did i find the right stuff? are s/w version & firmware same?

yeah Firmware and software (OS) are same things...from N95 Nokia started numbering fimware as 10.x 11.x 20.x and like that earlier it used to be 1.x 2.x etc....
With V20.0.0 major issues with N81 has been resolved but still long way to go!

Since this firmware was out on 25th july all new phones must be having this...with BB5 phones nokia made customers to upgrade firmware sitting in the bedroom!!That was a very good decision by Nokia. May be in 2-3 months you'll get a new firmware and phone will be more and more stable...For best ask someone who is on 20.x firmware and I'm sure those hanging issue and slow down issues must have been resolved.
