Ok get drtcp... then put the rwin value as 12672... the mtu as 1448 leave everthing else as default... and places where the default option is not available erase the value and leave it blank. Do this with your networking turned off... then save the settings also c that the network adapter that you use is selected.... and then restart your pc. Ping your gateway and c wat happens.

So your local network is working just fine... it's the problem with the sify servers then...

Call up CC... tell them that no data is being transferred... and they might send one of their guys over or may fix it themselves...

well the disconnecting problem has more or less been cured but still i suffer from terrible data losses . Priyoban isnt there something i can do from my side before calling cc ?

How are you determining your data losses? Give me some stats

the sending receiving monitors on the system tray both turn black and at that time the webpages just stop loading . Even if im chatting on yahoo or msn i dont get messages that others have sent . And now when i log out that session expired logout unsuccessful error pops

You cannot determine whether you have packet loss like that. Go to https://www.dslreports.com/tweaks and take the test and see whether you have any packet loss... and then follow the recommendations if they seem viable.
