N79 Rocks!
Hi all,
I have - 1 Desktop PC, 1 Dell Laptop, 1 Acer Netbook (All Windows 7 Ultimate)
ADSL+ Wifi Router - DNA A211 Type 4 provided by BSNL - 4 Ethernet ports + Wifi + RJ11 (Phone line)
I want to setup a home network that will allow me sharing files between all of these using my current modem+router.
1. is it possible to keep router in dial up mode, so as to access internet only as and when required but transfer files through ethernet/Wifi network? I think it will lead to problem that i can use internet only in any one of these and not simultaneously. It can be managed.
2. if not, i can switch to always online mode for internet, and than transfer files via ethernet/wifi.
First one is preferable.
Files will be huge videos, movies etc so transferring via internet not possible.
kindly guide me.
