Hi everyone, Can some of you members from the south ping these servers on BSNL FTTH and post results for me?

cn-long.coolkit.cc

cn-api.coolkit.cc

I’ve been having trouble pairing Sonoff MINI DIY smart switches (IoT) to its App on BSNL FTTH. They used to work well when I was using JioFi 4G modem created WiFi network.

On BSNL I’m using DBC ONU and Ubiquiti UAP-AC-LITE access point connected to the Ethernet port of DBC ONU to create my WiFi network both in 2.4 and 5GHz frequencies and they are named separately. Sonoff s could only use 2.4Ghz network to connect to. So the DHCP routing is done by DBC ONU gateway.

I failed to get these server info from sonoff support while at the site where this FTTH connection is installed. So I was not able to do any ping tests to these servers while I was there, nor I’m able to try and do it remotely as the people there are not competent enough to help me with remote trouble shooting using tools like TeamViewer.

These ping results and your suggestion on tweaking some settings on the ONU might help me trouble shoot the issue the next time I’m there. Hence this post. BTW I’m from Kerala. Thank you for any inputs and suggestions.

Thank you for replying. Hoping that my issue too is as simple as yours. As you suggested I’ll change the DNS to a custom one and see if it’s brings about any change next time I’m there at my parent’s place.

To make it clear, yes I’m using the default DNS option set by the LCO person. - Auto DNS
