Getting massive speed fluctuations,connection drops and through output loss over wi fi on the Asus 12Uc1 i got last month.My old Netgear router with Binatone modem is giving close to 100% speed at the same spot.

it was 3.Changed it to 7.Phir bhi wahi issue.Is there a way to find out which channels my neighbours are using?

There is an app for finding channels that neighbours use.. search in google play store.

Use this app. It will show the channel used by your neighbours.

Wifi Analyzer is what I use. But I have a feeling your issue is not related to channel.
