Help needed with broadband connection...

Ah yes, it could be virus or spyware too... Try MS AntiSpyware (a recent updated beta is available at microsoft.com/spyware ) also try lavasoft ad-aware personal edition both are good...i dont like norton really, i use the free AVG AntiVirus from grisoft... check out free.grisoft.com and download AVG 7 free edition...The good thing about MS AntiSpyware is its free and it also allows you to run constantly in the background like a anti-virus "real time monitor"... Lavasoft ad-aware you have to pay to get that feature.hehe sushubh... still telling n00bs to read your signature, eh? 8-)
 
hey I did scan with ms antispyware...and my pc is surely spyware free...its just that I am not sure of viruses...pesky little things.....
 
Disconnection every couple of minutes was a initial prob with BSNL but not anymore. Get ur lines chekced by the BSNL ppl. Also activate KEEP ALIVE. This forum had a discussion and link on Keep ALive and if u see archives u will find it ( the admin would be of help here ).
 
tell me this...r u connecting through the USB port??? if yes, then use the ethernet...USB port is never constant for me...it disconnects pretty often... :)
 
YES...I DO NOT CONNECT THROUGH A USB...DATAONE JUST HAS THE ETHERNET TO CONNECT THORUGH...AND I HAVE THE KEEP ALIVE FEATURE ACTIVATED...
