is the issue solved after ont replacement? Then all good.
I have zte 670 with bridge enabled on LAN#4. I normally use only airtel ont but to test I hooked my D-Link on bridge #LAN4 and connected my mobile to it and i was able to make WA voip calls.

Yet to enable bridge mode. Should be done today hopefully. It went on the backburner due to the festivities.
But kudos to the support engineer. Poor guy came to my place at 8.45 PM on Tuesday to change the ONT

@rohitks update:
The support engineer got the bridge mode configured from the backend team, and all is well now. VoIP and IPv6 work as expected.

i just noticed this issue, there have been problems with getting ripe atlas working but didn't realize whatsapp calling wasn't working until now because I routed all my devices over a VPN. Turns out, with VPN turned off WhatsApp calling doesn't work.

The TURN server should be coming into action for whatsapp calls if the end devices are unable to peer directly. Check if anything is stopping your router egress to port 3478.

not sure if airtel is doing something with it on their side but on my router all outgoing ports are open, even tried putting my router ip address in the bridged ZTE router's "DMZ" but nope, nothing works. For now, I'm just routing all the WhatsApp IPs over VPN.

Tbh, none of the ONT features should interfere while using bridge mode if done correctly. Airtel has messed up. That is the fact of it

agh im very annoyed, i've been trying to get wireguard working for an hour now. turns out Airtel blocks that too! (atleast 51820). routing the wireguard docker container over my openvpn client fixed it. ugh, i need to get back to non-bridge mode.
