High ping to Europe

It’s variable and depends on your location atm. Airtel has zoned customers to different BGP routers. If you’re lucky, you’ll receive low ping times over optimised routes. For smaller ISPs too it’s the same story. It depends on which BGP router of the upstream provider you get zoned to.

All Tata and Airtel to Marseille and London routes have stabilized to ~120-130ms here. Less than that if it's through Hurricane Electric or Cogent in reverse. Weirdly, jio has climbed to ~140-160ms which seems to rely on CDN77 a lot at times.

So it's confirmed that high latency issue is fixed now? Could someone from Kolkata/WB pls post a screenshot from cloudping or similar? If ping issues are fixed I plan to move back to airtel next month.

Is this issued fixed now? I am planning to move back to airtel from Hathway. Someone under LCO area in WB please post a ping test result. Thanks in advance.

Airtel is more fked up than ever.
I feel hathway is better in pings.

Hathway transit has moved exclusively to Jio now, no wonder their backend has been better.

getting 250+ ms ping on speedtest on all london servers with slow speed

ICMP ping is 200, UDP ping is normal ~120ms.
