Home 500 combo bill detail

Ive changed my plan from 'HOME 500' to 'HOME 500 combo' on december 4 and the bill was updated yesterday in the portal.The total amount is Rs.1000 ( plus Rs.61.80 tax).

When these plans were introduced, some people complained that they were asked to pay Rs.500 as deposit.But i dint pay anything here in chennai .So i think ive been charged for that in this bill.:madness:

Moreover the tax amount is calculated for Rs. 500 only(12.36 % of 500 is 61.8) and the remaining Rs.500 is just added to the total, so i guess that it is an one time payment for plan migration and not a refundible deposit.

But those guys in BSNL never said anything about this when i changed the plan.

I dont use the land line very often, so those 175 calls are more than i could use.And i also dont use the net in the day so the 1.5 gb is sufficient.It depends on your usage style , if u browse a lot then go for home 500 C+........

I'm yet to receive my first bill after changing to H 500C. If they charge deposit of 500 for this plan, what will happen to the earlier deposit which i paid for H 900+ ? Why can't they adjust it!

Hi srk006,

They cannot adjust because they have to update their software(told by AE in telephone department).
It happened for me twice. they have charged 900 for my 900UL plan and they charged 500 again when i change the plan to Home 500. i went and met AE regarding this, they refund the amount with in 30 minutes (i have checked online bill and i was adjusted with last month bill).

May be the time you contacted they are still to update their systems with this plan. Give application again to your csc.
