The only thing I have ordered from HomeShop18 is a fire extinguisher. Had ordered it 1.5-2 years back. The delivery was really quick, it was delivered before the promised time. I had ordered it on a Sunday and it was delivered on Monday. No freebies for me though!

they have been doing rather well with book deliveries. at least around delhi ncr

Yeah.. 9 hours seems too good, but Chennai should take some time.. The estimate was 5 to 7 days, which was a bit too much I felt comparing what I was reading here, but then I am in no hurry, neither was it available anywhere else.

they tend to give a longer shipping time. sort of under promise and over deliver concept.

Just rechecked its 5-8 working days, why I wonder is because many books have 4-6 working days. Thinking its just not updated or this book requires some extra digging in their backyard.And I see some have 7-14 working days. Maybe a pattern they have to obtain books from certain resellers or publishing houses?Ok the 7-14 is imported. Noticed that now.

Received the book... Considering it was Oct 3rd night (as good as ordering on 4th), receiving on 8th looks ok. Got the same freebies as in the first image by admin.
