I placed an order for a book (COD) on HS18 2 days back. That book is not available in any of the sites at that time. The delivery time of HS18 is 7 working days
But today the same book is available at snapdeal at cheaper rate & with 1 day dispatch. So I ordered it there with same COD option.Their delivery is awesome.Iam getting all items within 3days of ordering.
Now I'm unable to see any link to cancel the order in HS18!!! How to cancel the order while using COD? Pls help
UPDATE: Calling to CC only will cancel the COD order. No reply on e-mail/social network sites. Why the hell we need to waste around Rs10 (calling landline) for cancellation.Really HS18 gone mad.How can they forget cancellation option on their website? This is stupidity at peaks!!!

Do not accept the order if it is a CoD order. As simple as that.
Flipkart has a cancel button on the order but I assume only till the order has not been shipped.

I would not waste money by calling their customer care if they do not have my money already. I would make them call me.

What will the courier agency do when customer rejects the item saying that he hasn't ordered?
FK & SD will allow cancellation till shipment.Once shipped, you cannot deny it.Only HS18 has provision to cancel even after shipment. You can cancel it before it reaches your address.

EBay - They have it clearly mentioned that until a specific day if order is not shipped then only refund will be given
We are talking about cancellation before shipment date, not about cancellation after crossing expected shipment date.

I meant to say if the store has not made it easy for you to cancel the order... Just refuse to take it and ask for a refund in case of prepaid delivery.

I understand. But you must also understand that when they have clearly mentioned that you will have to wait until a fixed date, it means you understand that worst case scenario is that date but once you order with eBay you cant cancel on your own generally until the date is past, you don't like it you don't buy from there, period

It's not about liking..it's about savings,urgency & availability.Fastest delivery in shortest time

Few sellers in ebay provide their contact no in their listing, call seller and ask whether he can ship in 1-2 days or not, then pay for the item.you can also contact seller thru ebay , open lisitng ,click on "ask a question"You cannot contact seller @snapdeal.
