Its inevitable but I guess Honda will surely overtake bajaj whose focus are in the woods, ppl have moved on, so should bajaj n redevelop the brand!

heh. bajaj first killed their scooter business. honda dominates that market now. and now honda is set to overtake bajaj in bikes. fun.

CBR150R? That would be surely hit like Yamaha bikes. I guess people are bored with Pulsars :)

Yes, CBR150R is coming by March end or April. It was announced for Indian market in Auto Expo 2012.

It outruns the all current bikes upto 180CC in terms of power and torque. It is also coming in more attractive tri colour schemes than dual in CBR250R earlier. Same colour schemes were announced for CBR250R also at the same time and I already saw it in red-blue-white combo in showroom, last week.

They did announce 4-5 new bikes for India, few will be imported, one is superbike (CB1000R) other is of chopper category (VFR series) and upgraded current lineup to some extent as well. Dio gone through major upgrade. Cosmetic upgrades for Dazzler and Shine.

They stole whole the limelight of motorcycle segment in Auto Expo 2012 and IMHO, they seem to be the most serious player in India at this moment.

Japanese are kicking a** ot of Indian manufactures. Reason is quality of core parts. Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki have way better engines than Bajaj and TVS in terms of refinement.

complacency? bajaj dominated the scooter market. they were tempted by the profitable bike market. got f'ed in both markets. hero is trying hard to avoid the same fate. talks with international players with the aim of developing engines based on their own technology in the next two years. things would become very interesting for them once their technical deal with honda expires.

They will have to hurry up. Meanwhile they will keep launching bikes based on Honda technology till 2014. Their new lineup is extremely boring and dicto copy of Honda's bikes which are on-road since 2-4 years. Hero Ignitor is based on Honda Stunner and even looks are same. Thats just nonsense. They didn't even bother to modify looks this time! They are still in the game IMO if they bring complete new foreign tech to India at affordable price. Like if recent rumours about tie up with Ducati comes true. Otherwise they are out of the game soon. They can not devolope own R&D and tech in two years and can't sell single product having Honda tech from 2015. As said, they will have to hurry up.

heh. hero has not launched one exciting product since the original cbz. from what i see, yamaha currently has the most exciting product lineup in the below Rs. 1 Lakh segment. :D

Pulsar 200NS looks promising, I guess the engine is from KTM. Let's see when it hits the road.

Absolutely! But it will target limited people. I see many people prefer full faired bikes over naked or semi. I am waiting for such bike with KTM engine.

Also, 200NS's KTM engine is heavily re-tuned. I fear if it will loose original characteristics of KTM that is powerful and torquey low to mid band. It already seems to by looking at specs (Compare 200NS with Duke 200).

CBZ classic will be remembered for times in Indian bike history. Heard from many fellows that CBZ Xtreme are not upto the mark especially since 2011 edition.

Yes, love the FZ series and its looks! But Yamaha for sure will have to concentrate on fuel efficiency. Indian market is very sensitive about this.

Six months ago, I had initially thought to go for Bajaj Pulsar 150 but a dear friend of mine convinced me to go for Dazzler and I'm very happy with it.
