Hotmail / MSN messenger down?

I am not able to connect to my hotmail account or connect through MSN messenger (via pidgin) as well.

Can anyone confirm if its same with their account?

It doesnt say email or password wrong as well. After typing password and pressing enter, it does something/some page redirection, it brings me back to login screen.

Tried MSN Web Messenger as well, but same thing happens.

YEP! Hotmail and MSN is down, people are reporting problem here:

I can't sign into my hotmail account
Unable to log into email.
You don't have an Inbox
Problem - You don't have an inbox...yet (User for more than 5 years)

Infact windowslivehelp.com has become so slow and also gave me "connection reset", hahaha!

I suspect, something major has happened

I didnt get "You don't have Inbox" error, but it wud scare anyone who has important data stored.

Ha, I dont think that, that guy wud be knowing that such email wud be going to everyone. Hotmail must have asked him for old email and he must have provided it and then hotmail took over from there
