How do i know if the product is genuine or not?

Hi, I buy clothes & other stuff online. My biggest concern always is weather the product is genuine or fake. I have ordered Reebok Tracksuit from jabong and it will arrive on 25dec and by looking i would not tell weather the tracksuit is geniune or fake.

Can you please tell me how i can spot fake brand clothes.

Not sure but scanning Bar code on label should do that,Scanned code and printed code should exactly match,also some QR/Bar codes contains URL to verify products. I have did for electronics but haven't tried on clothing

but bar code are easy to replicate :\

plus jabong should be fairly safe. they do not have third party sellers right?

though these are easy to replicate, but human eyes can differentiate b/w print quality of original and duplicate bar codes

I recently bought Adidas sweatshirt and i scanned the bar code via mobile and all it show is a serial number. Now what i supposed to do with that serial number. And you are saying bar codes are easy to replicate then what to see else. I bought that sweatshirt from showroom so i can just assure its original but can not tell just by looking.

the scanned code should match with printed code thats what a buyer can check

my addidas sweatshirt do not have any printed code. Only the paperslip attached with a plastic string was have bar code.
