One thing to note for bridged mode vs. PPPoE mode is that in the former the modem acts as only a modem, it will forward all data to your PC. You will need some kind of firewall to safeguard your PC from viruses etc... In the latter the modem acts as both a modem and a router and will filter/block data to ports that are not forwarded to the PC.

yep, dats y bridging mode is required for the VPN conenctions .
