How do I setup VPN or OpenVPN on my Airtel Xstream Router

I have the ZTE router that Airtel guy installed and I have a second router connected to it which is TP Link Archer A7. I want to setup a VPN through my router so that my sibling can watch or access (mostly through Android device) Indian OTT from Europe.

I don’t think I want to buy a raspberry Pi just for that purpose. I’ve tried to make a VPN server on TP-Link but I won’t connect and always shows the error of timeout.

I will recommend you to use tailscale with
exit node but it too require any compute machine, or alternatively you can flash openwrt on your 2ndry router and install the said package but this method will only work if archer will have enough memory to install said packages

If I use tailscale I'll have to keep my machine ON forever, right? If so, I don't think that method will work. How do I flash openwrt?

Read the documentation very carefully before switching to OpenWRT. Check if your version is supported
