How do I unlock Huawei HG8145V5 provided by Airtel to use it on other ISPs?

I have a Airtel GPON ONT Huawei HG8145V5. Can you PLEASE help me with unlocking it, so that I can use it with other Cable ISPs? any information, links or guides will be greatly appreciated! I am badly in need of it! Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your reply @varkey . I have it ordered yesterday and the vendor told me that he thinks it is locked. Anyway, I will get it tomorrow, and confirm whether its locked or not. I am planning to use it for my KeralaVision, which is a GPON based FTTH. Thanks once again

But I tried bsnl ftth and only the VOIP got configured and internet didnt! i tried hard to find fresh firmware to unlock the modem but it isnt available online.If anyone has idea to unlock modem let me know.Thanks

Most likely there is no locking, but the operator would need to whitelist or allow the device to register with the OLT. Mostly serial number based.

thanks @varkey for your reply, appreciate it. in my previous post, in Does BSNL or Asianet FTTH support Huawei HG8145v5 GPON ONT? | BSNL Bharat Fiber, the user @nihad also mentioned a similar issue, which made me worried. Anyways, shall wait for it to be delivered and check! Shall keep you posted! Thanks once again.
