How easy is it to get Vodafone micro sim for iPhone ?

Does vodafone charge anything for replacing normal sim to micro sim ? I am shifting from Samsung Wave to iPhone.Any idea if the same Edge plans are applicable on iPhones or new plans have to be taken ?

I think I paid around Rs 40 for the micro sim and yes same edge plans are there for iPhone.

Not working for me .. How do we enter the settings ?

There is a settings icon on iPhone. Once your in settings to enable gprs follow these steps. Settings -- General -- Network -- Mobile Data (turn it on for gprs). If your using 3G then turn on mobile data aswell as enable 3g. Hope this helps.

If you dont want to go through the hassle, just get your old SIM cut by any mobile shop. They charged me 100 rs about 2 years back, but now should be down to 50 or so. they cut it with a template device like a stapler, so that you can combine the 2 pieces and put the SIM into a normal phone when you want as well. I do this for internaitonal travel, where I replace my airtel sim with a matrix sim and put my cut sim into a spare phone of mine...

My wife is using a normal SIM cut to MicroSIM but in iPhone i cannot get the "My Number" thing working as because of this i guess i am not able to activate iMessage and Facetime. So i plan to get a dedicated MicroSIM for her so all these things work. On more factor that might be at play here is that the current SIM is very old (i think 2007 year) so it might not be working well (as in does not display the "My Number" etc).
