How is Railwire for gaming and stability?

Hey there!

I read a lot of problems regarding Railwire broadband. However, it would be great for me if you can list them here, especially regarding gaming and the overall stability (speed, downtimes, packet loss etc.).

I saw that a lot people were having issues with CODM and PUBGM, is that resolved? And are you facing problems even in PC games or only these two?

Actually, I get ~80ms to that IP during the day, but it jumps to 150+ in the evening around 7:30pm and remains like this until 11:30pm. It matches the IPL timings. I noticed that too. Their gaming IP seems to have download speed issue and I faced slowness at pretty much same time. Now I know it is because of IPL. 😅

Some PC games like GTA requires Open NAT and this dosen't have, unless you request them a gaming IP/ static IP. It can still join multiplayer lobby but with high latency. Games like CS, Valorant etc works fine.
For mobile games, it does have low latency, no other issues, atleast for me.

Woohoooo. I got a Gaming IP. Now my internet is dying. slow download, upload, Fluctuating ping...
Kolkata server is not reachable.

So, since a few days, these are the problems I've been facing-

1. After about 7-8 PM I start facing unstable ping. It was not as bad as usual yesterday, but there was surely packet loss.

2. It continues until about 10-11 AM in the morning.

3. During this time, I often face Internet issues. It shows that Internet is active but doesn't work. Happens for like 5-15 seconds once every few minute.

4. Ping have been really weird. Some time I get 50ms to Google and Cloudflare DNS, the other time, one of them have ping spike while the other is having same ping.

5. Speed is kind of slow often. Fluctuates a lot. Averages around 40 Mbps even in RailTel servers (except Kolkata, as I have gaming IP, so can't connect to it).

I did tried to ask them to resolve the issues or tell me if they can fix it but they really couldn't do anything. 😂

So, I won't be wasting more time on testing and complaining now.

@imdarkray I did complained as much as I could. Took it even to PG Portal. 😂 I am just gonna wait for them to fix the issue.

There is no other broadband available in my area, so can't switch either.
