How long Manuel Tune option is available in SUN DIRECT

Hi, Lots of people in this forum say they added some channel through manauel Scanning. But is that Manual Scanning option available just because SUN DIRECT is new launched? Or it will be available always. If yes, the same options are available in Tata Sky / Dish TV or in Hathway as well. I am not sure.. please clarify.

manual scan option is there with STB.it adds around 6 channels more.and adding manually ,u can get etc,9xm,ptc news.totalling 83+23FM channels IIRC.

Hi, I agree with that. But i use Hathway Digital Cable TV and in that STB it says "Tune Status: LOCKED". And my brother have a Tata Sky connection, even that STB says "Manuel Tune: Disabled".. Could any one tell even SUN DTH will block Manuel Tunning after some days ?

^Hey Man!Manual scan is available in sun's STB.u need to enter "0 0 0 0" as password for accessing manual scan via remote's Menu key.Manual scan is NOT locked in sun's DTH.

Brilliant Answer .... :wall:My subjet was how long the Manuel scan option available.? as Tata Sky, Hathway blocks the manuel Tunning, i wanted to know wheather all Tatasky Subscriber have the same issue or it is blocked with few customers based on the package.
