How many of you expect to use 4G on your devices in next two years?

The question is not 4G, but speed. The capped speed in India are no better than 3G. I have an Airtel 4g data card and it sucks. 3g on my phone is much better

“We will offer 4G mobile broadband at par with 2G and 3G rates in 29 cities. People will be able to make voice calls using the broadband that will be offered to them. We are going to deploy Voice over LTE (VoLTE) technology for this. In rest of the cities we will offer 2G service,” Bali said.
The company will use its entire spectrum in 1800MHz band that it won in November 2012 auction for 4G service. The frequency that the company holds has most developed ecosystem of 4G services both in terms of equipments and consumer devices.

What about coverage? Even 3G speed is not consistent in all of hyderabad alone

i am gonna get my yu yuerka in few days and do i need to get a 4g sim replacing my 3g sim to acess 4g ? i am using airtel bangalore

i have spare documents when i took act broadband i guess that will do,i wish they also have lower data packs for 4g

I am more interested in the wired broadband from Jio and hope it launches with 4G. If they give better speeds than BSNL at a better price especially on an affordable pay-as-you-go, I would definitely like to try them out as soon as they launch. If they perform consistently, I might make them my main connection and use BSNL only for backup. Prices matter a lot. If they launch with Act Fibernet sort of prices for wired broadband, I doubt they will sell like hotcakes in every part of the country be it their wired broadband or 4G.

I will select 4G plan if it can give 30-60 GB month plan with reasonable price otherwise it will be waste of money for me. Though my town is one of backward Town in India. There is actually no broadband except BSNL.
