I buy 2 TB HDD's (prefer internal) when space runs out.
Most of the content is on desktops in my primary home. I take a couple
of
laptops (need spare for work reasons) when I visit Mumbai along
with an external HDD.
As and when my laptops and external HDDs get full I stop downloading
Sometimes this takes a while and other times it gets full faster depending
upon what I want to watch. I delete some stuff after watching and the ones
worth keeping are transferred over to the Desktop HDD's when I come
back home.
The reason why my downloads are higher is that I rely solely on the internet
for my entertainment needs. I rarely watch
TV at home. I prefer a solution
which allows me to watch at my convenience and leisure without any stupid
ads to bother about.
720 and 1080p videos do take up a lot of space for the content. My Mumbai ISP
does torrent caching and this leads to a huge speed increase (some torrents
download @ 50Mbps - 5 megabytes per second)
