How to access account balance

Hi,I have got Tata Sky DTH. I have a few questions, please help me.1. How do I know my account balance using the remote control provided by the company? Is it possible to access my account details on the TV screen using the subsciber/customer id?2. During installation a lot of extra cable was used which cost me 500 rupees as per the installation engineer, but when I offered him the money for the extra length of cable he refused to take it saying it was to be paid to the company using a recharge card, I can't understand this. 1. You can press the yellow button OR the Help button on your remote to view your subscriber ID, and your balance. Note though that the balance is not the latest that is shown on the TV. For the current balance, you can either call the Tata Sky Helpline numbers, and enter your subcriber ID, OR alternatively, a faster option is to login to mytatasky.com and check the balance.2. You need to either buy a recharge voucher from one of the distributors near your area - similar to how you buy vouchers for mobile recharge, and then recharge using the code in that. Alternative again, is to login to mytatasky.com and select the Recharge Online option, where you can recharge for any amount greater than 200 INR using your credit or debit card.3. Showcase are movie on demand channels. Movies - as pre-decided by Tata Sky - are aired on these channels at certain rates. Rates vary based on the movie, sometimes, very rarely though, there are free movies also. If you like to watch a particular Showcase movie, you can call the Tata Sky helpline number, and mention the movie and which show you want to watch, alternatively again, login to mytatasky.com and do it yourself. Once a movie is booked, you can watch it any time on that day.
