If it is a custom vendor then port forward is the only solution (assuming you can't do network wide zerotier).

I have Mikrotik router. I haven't found a solution by which I can install zerotier. But router itself has ddns. But my mikrotik router itself has ddns. So don't know how to go about it.

@jatheesh81 if you have new Hikvision NVR then you don't need static IP.

Simply enable "platform access" and then download hik connect app on your phone where you can scan the QR code from you NVR platform access setting. That's it.

Platform access works even if your behind CG-NAT, basically it route you through "dev.sgp.hik-connect.com".

Edited: static IP and port forwarding is only need for DVR/NVR who don't have platform access. I have a old DVR for which I need static IP and need to manually port forward in router settings. And for my other new NVR with platform access, it works with static IP or port forwarding.
yes i find it in web ui,,

@jatheesh81 can you specify which NVR model, I mean model number. I am using HiKVision DS-7P16NI-Q2.

Any internet connection with no ports open or CG-NAT on NVR/DVR with platform Access , Hikconnect app will show you the live view.

Follow this steps if your NVR support platform access:
Source

For hik connect you need to register www.hik-connect.com

After registering you simply need to scan the QR code from the platform access from NVR.

Note: the web ui does not have option to display QR code, it only have option to turn on/off. To to get QR code you need to open platform access on NVR interface itself.

Also enable UPnP on your router while using platform access.

Note: the above video is old, so the hik connect app is no longer available in android play store so to get the app you need to download from Hikvision App Store. For iOS its directly available in App Store.

PS. If your system is old one which does not have platform access then port forwarding & static ip is only solution.

@devangpatel mine s old cctv setup ,,I will send modle ,what is the the procedure for apply static ip for surveillance,,only yesterday' jio installed

@jatheesh81 you need to raise a request. Basically they won't give you public IP but they will map your external port to internal port in their backend. they will bind your NVR/DVR's MAC address so that you can only use for surveillance purpose.

Below post @keithcardozo have given detailed info. Have a look.

Heylo everyone..

As Jio Gigafiber doesn't allow port-forwarding, Is there any way to connect your cp-plus/ any other brand DVR/NVR to the gigafiber router ?
Is it necessary to port forward or it can work without that ?

Any thoughts ?
did you find any solution i am not able to access Gcmob app over internet but able to access over LAN
