well look like these omni anteena first pick the signal and then boost it using another small anteena , guys but it can boost the signal of BSNL 3G 2.1GHz ,

OK.

But my question about how to use omni antenna with 3g modem which does "not" have a socket for the antenna remains answered.

Perhaps no one knows the answer.

Thanks for the pic.Could you mention the model and brand of the antenna ?
By the way does your 3G USB modem have a socket for attaching the 3g antenna ?How to attach it to USB modem which "does not" have a socket for attaching the external antenna eg Huawei E1750 ?

The following antennas boost "3G" and not only GSM as is clearly mentioned in their headings and description :

I would still say first try this and if it doesn't work then spend money on 3G antenna:

Attach your USB modem to a USB extension cable and raise it to a higher level pointing it towards the 3G tower.

This will improve 3G reception.I have tried it many times and it worked.

but d difference is huge between 3 bars n 5 bars...d actual difference u will come to knw is during d peak hrs ie from 5 pm to 10 pm....

Yes, This works like charm. I am able to get 3 mbps sometimes :)

But the shared IP is the worst thing so I am going to return the SIM :( Since my downloads are from mainly RS and MU :(

In the above message did you meant the "antenna" or the "usb extension cable" works as a charm ?

Please clarify "RS" and "MU " ?
