Hello everyone. Please guide me through the procedure of blocking some websites in airtel xstream Huawei router so that all the devices connected through the router either by LAN or Wirelessly can not open those websites.

I need to know it very badly, please help.

You can use DNS based blocking . I do not know much about Huawei which you have, so it is hard to guess if it has a Blocklist feature . Usually ONT do not have Blacklist/Block option.

DNS blocking is only option based on the input you have given

@shashankb It does not have url blocking feature. I tried OPENdns blocking but it didn't work for me. Can you suggest me a procedure or tutorial which I can follow?

blocking at local level is quite complicated these days as almost all devices can use encyrpted dns to get around dns based blocking. you might get a bit more control by using bridge mode with a more capable router handling the networking. but as someone else found out here few days ago, encrypted dns went around the blocking on primary router. not sure if consumer routers can do more complex blocking that might require dpi.

yes thats the only option and even if his Huawei ont had url blocking it would most probably be pretty useless.( i have tried url blocking on my hg8120c, doesn't work).
