How to configure my own ADSL modem for Dataone?

I have received user ID ,password for new data one connection.Since i have my own modem (Speedtouch 330),BSNL is not helping me to configure it.I have installed driver,dialer provided with modem CD.

entering username & password, after i clicked connect button in dialer , it performed serious of check which are sucessful and finally it says 'verification of userID/Password failed as remote computer is not responding'.

Is there any specific configuration to be done? like giving some value in TCP/IP properties of network connection?

do not enter user ID with @ bsnl.in
Start/run/type cmd type IPconfig/all.
Check Gateway is 192.168.1.1
Start network /lan properties/TCP/IP/Properties select assign Ip address automatically.
Use these DNS 208.67.220.220 and 208.67.222.222
