Hello frenz,I have applied for bsnl broadband unlimited plan. i have 1 pc & 1 laptop.My question is, 1) if i buy type 3 modem ( with 2 or 4 ethernet ports) from bsnl or from outside .. then will i be able to connect both pc & laptop to internet at the same time..? 2)i hope if i get type 3 modem.. then i shldnt require any kind of extra switch to connect both..?? 3) If i get type4 modem, then is it possible to connect a laptop through Wireless lan & desktop through LAN at the same time..? 4) What is maximum distance frm modem at which laptop can be connected through wireless lan..?5) Plz let me know detailed setting/configuration for all this.. i have read some posts showing set up diagram, but i want to know same configuration (like DNS server address) applies in maharashtra (other dan mumbai)..or it varies ?
