Hi everyoneGreetings from MumbaiI currently have internet services from two Service Providers - MTNL and the local ISPI purchased the D-Link DI-LB604 Load Balancing Router as we wanted a combined speed of both the operatorsHowever I think my computer guy has not configured the router properly as most of the time it shows only one ISP service is onMy configuration is as under :3 pcs and 2 laptops connected to the systemMTNL has given a wireless router and we are using a Linksys Router which has the local cable net connectedOutput of both these routers then go into the Dlink routerMy question is :1. When two simultaneous connections are on, will a load balancing router thruput the combined speed or does the router allow only one connection at a time and switch to the next one when the first fails ?2. Which is the best way to configure such a router system ?I had send a query to Dlink tech and this is what they replied :---------------------------------------------------------------------------- We will suggest you to configure your MTNL modem in Bridge mode, connect it to Wan 1 and configure DI-LB604 in PPPoE Mode and for In-Cable, we will suggest you to configure your wireless router (Linksys) as a wireless switch, connect the cable fom linksys to the wan port of the DI-LB604 and configure DI-LB604 in the Dynamic ip mode.----------------------------------------------------------------------------Appreciate tips on solving this issueThanks in advance for the helpRegardsRam
