How to get FTA channels?

I am looking forward to buy some FTA receiver to get some FTA channels. Which one should I buy? I am from Trivandrum. Which all channels are available as FTA? C band or Ku band, which one is good?

Anishnirnam,Kindly explain the following1.What do you mean by portable C band dish? Are you trying to say that this dish does'nt need any permanent fixtures for installation? Can it be installed without a concrete foundation.Can it be easily moved from one place to another without much of a hassle?2.How big is this portable dish?3. Which city is this available in? I live in Mumbai. Do you know any dealer in Mumbai selling it?Please post pictures if you have. Quick reply will be appreciated

I wanted to see some good regional channels and foreign channels. Which STB and received is good one. Is K band antenna gone one to see free channels?
