How to Make this Remote Universal ?

How to make this Remote Universal ? My old Videocon Remote have 2 Power button so i can make 1 button universal through which i can on/off tv.
but in this new remote dont have that button. So how to make it universal remote to on/off TV also.

even it dont have backlight when pressing any button.

This looks like a Radio Frequency remote (unlike traditional Infra-red line of sight) and it is not universal.

Yup, the newer Videocon stb remotes work on rf.
