Better get Airtel to advise you. Though I am doubtful they can help and will suggest a replacement.
I need to change my hdd in airtel dvr cause the one that came with the stb has gone faulty
I put in a new hdd but it shows hdd 001 error
I put it in format also frm stb still showing hdd error

@Dj1018 The best bet would be to reach out to Airtel and ask what's the process for replacing the hard disk. They might have a standard operating procedure for these kind of issues.
Having said that, what was the size of the old HDD and what's the size of the new HDD? What partition scheme does it use? MBR or GPT?
Nothing i have been seraching for a week. Thing is old hdd drive has crashed so connecting it to pc is not recognised hence cant know the format or mbr/ gpt size
