How to Send SMS to International Numbers?

if thru yahoo, then it is +1.. if thru mobile it was 001 i guess.. that is what she told me.. sending to the saved number from contact list !! no big deal yaar.. nothing to do with number.. check the msg center number.. and send it !!
 
Dunno yaar....still facing the Same Problem...from Phone...i want to make sure the msg goes from my mobile as well...tried adding 001...no luck..:(
 
it cud be prob with ur friend's network or betn his network and MTNL. did u try sending msg to any other int'l number?
 
Nope its a mobile number.Coz she Msg me from her numberI called the MTNL HelpDesk number,And he gave me the Chicago area code as 0065.So i am supposed to add 0065 630 329 XXXXHow come 0065??630 is chicago area code rite??
 
I too faced a similar situation.Once I had to SMS my friend in Sri Lanka, but I didn't know how.I even tried asking for help here.Now I know how to,+eg.+94771xxxxx (that's for Sri Lanka Dialog)if this method doesn't work, then there must be some peculiar problem.AND HECK, Airtel charges rs. 5/sms, but for my friend from Sri Lanka, it costs less than 1 INR.!

when you get a call, what number shows in is the number you have to reply !
as far i know there is no 0065 !!

it is 10 digit phone number.. and international code for USA is 001 (+1)
