Where can we buy all the data quotas from? Whom should we consult to get it? How much does it cost when you buy it in the first hand market and eliminating all the middlemen? This is what you have to look for, first. Only then you can fix your Data Schemes or tariff plans or whatever you call it. I would love to start a Cable ISP myself. So I would love to hear more details about this... Looks like I've met a person who wants to do the same thing that I wanted to do for a long time.

I never said that lowering the brooadband rates would result in losses. Its quite possible that they remove the caps and still run into profits but can any body except the big players , like BSNL ,Tata Reliance do that ? No . What can a local ISP do even if he has clear intentions of providing UL connection ...simply nothing , He buys the bandwidth from a bigger player and he in turns from somebody else. you cant do any thing until you can generate your own bandwidth
[/b]

when we talk about generating our own bandwidth, can any one provide information on what could be the minimun Internet connections [ Is it 500 or 1000 or ...] required to maitain the overhead.

So, being a cable ISP giving out unlimited connections (hypothetically), how much bandwidth do u have at ur disposal?? :) Or, are u planning to implement a submarine cable landing station too !!! :D :D
