It's not reliable enough to be used as a primary connection for important tasks. For example if you do online trading or have to cater to clients.
I keep Airtel has a backup and I pay almost the same for both the connections. I keep Reliance because my usage is high enough to justify it. Though Airtel's newer plans are quite good for my usage though not dumping Reliance for the time being.
For example my usage goes above 200GB. Airtel's 200GB plan is around Rs. 2000+taxes at my place. I am currently paying Rs. 2500 for Reliance 4mbps (3.2mbps is max I get) unlimited and Airtel 4mbps 60GB.
