How to switch BSNL Bharat Fiber Broadband plan in the middle of the month?

Guys I currently have BSNL Fiber plan SUPERSTAR_300_GB_MONTHLY. The service started on 8th of September and this is being posted on 22nd. I have exhausted the 300GB limit and want to switch to the 600GB_CUL plan right now. I am ready to pay for the 300GB plan but want the plan changed ASAP as the 2mbps is too slow. I am not sure if the selfcare option to change plan does it after the end of current plan or right away.

@vishalrao soo.. how would I only get the new plan for the remaining month i.e. until 8th of next month or will it have a separate month?

new plan will be charged for the rest of the current month, then full/normal billing will start from 1st of following month.

@Adithya i will tell u with an example.. If ur current plan is 499 and you are upgrading to 777 on 18th of the month.

so your bill amount will be calculated as below:

499*18/30(or 31 as the case maybe on the basis of total no of days in month)=299.4
777*12/30(or 31 as the case maybe)= 310.8

so your total bill amount will be 299.4+310.8= approx Rs.611+ additional 18%gst + 1% flood cess (in kerala).

Is there any cool down time between successive plan changes...like if I downgrade from 777 to 499 for a short period when can I go back to 777 again....are there any charges involved

You can only change it once per month.

I think 1 month.. plan can be changed only once in a month and there will be no additional charges.
