Hello. I would like to know if its possible to use my D-Link 2750U ADSL2 router as a repeater.

I ask this because my TV is located in the hall while my router is in the bedroom. Though the signal of my TP-Link router does cover my hall, my Samsung TV doesn't have an inbuilt wifi-adapter :(

I know about buying authentic repeaters or buying Samsung's LAN adapter, but I dont wanna waste 2000 odd rupees for just watching FullHD videos on TV.

I recently changed from MTNL to SSV (which has been working wonders for me) and hence my previous ADSL router i.e. D-Link 2750U has been sitting idle. Is there anyway I will be able to use it as a repeater?

Does this piece of shit remember DNS settings on reboot for you? :D

Dont know what you're taking about. D-Link 2750U worked like a charm for me! I absolutely loved it. The only thing I would change about is its wireless range. But since I will be taking a wired connection from its LAN port, that doesn't bother me.

Will try that when I reach home tomorrow. It would be helpful if you could rather give me a solution to my query than making this more complicated.

Yes 2750u can be used as a repeater, I just took that modem for ACT which had WAN connectivity and currently using 2750u as repeater.
