1. HP is not shutting down their PC business. they are the world's largest PC maker. what makes you think they would shut it down? Seriously?
2. HP TouchPad is not even launched in India. So, servicing is not going to be available here anyways.

The specs may not be correct - I do not think this has 2g/3g

Personally , based on current situation. I would say this is just better than some of the chinese stuff. Thats it.

Update : Friend got a mail saying due to overwhelming demand they are not able to supply. Hence you can wait another 5 days to see if they are able to supply or ask money to be refunded . Recommended friend to cancel and ask for a refund
