Voice and Text message is supported in 16, even i use version 11 on desktop and both works fine.you may need to specify correct message center number in most to be able send SMS from it.

@karthik for me it is working but disconnecting some times but this may be because of bsnl network problem and heat is there..otherways good speed than ordinary modem
