HUAWEI MT882 modem gets hot

HiI got my BSNL dataOne connection couple of days back. I have to Huawei MT882 modem from BSNL. I have observed that modem gets hot after usage for about 15-20 mins. And I suspect it drops the connection due to this. Has anyone experienced same thing.

Yeah the modem does get very hot but the Delhi winter takes care of it.

Is it specific to MT882? I've MT880 and the temperature seems to be OK.

Even I have a MT880 and it does get really hot.

i have a D-Link DSL 502-T adsl modem.it never gets hot as u were saying. :blink:

my modem as well as ma comp is 24x7 ONLINE....its true i can cook ovea my modem as wella my amd... both are o NO PROBLEM ...line gets disconnected only if some kid is playin with ur tele line ..or when the line man is ready to make a visit

my server is on 24x7 but its a P1 so it runs cool
