Oh, so this is the Blue? Blue is going to be freaking costly if it comes to India. It is Hyundai's 'green' version of the i10, and came in for some real praise when it was launched in one of the auto shows last year.

Engine options include the proven 1.2 litre KAPPA petrol motor and a brand new 1.1 litre U2 CRDI diesel motor which will indeed bring home the heavier numbers on the Grand i10's sales charts. The diesel engine, an official claimed, will deliver best-in-class fuel efficiency of over 23 kilometres per litre.

Things just got super complicated for Maruti Swift.

What is best economy achieved by Diesel engines in India? Because every brand (Like Tata Indica/Indigo, Honda Amaze) claims to have best economy for Diesel engine.

hehe. i do not think maruti claims the same for swift even though it uses the same engine as indica. anyways. anything above 20 is nice. rest is all PR bullshit.

In city running anything around 17 and above is good.
