Beat has this fake carbon fiber design plastic layout on the dashboard. Looked horrible. Sail was all beige inside... The bad kind of beige. I have no idea what is wrong with these companies. The four cars that had decent interiors? i10, i20, Brio and Polo.

ok. so here is the comparison between the grande and i20 variants which are sort of close to each other.

i10 has 2 airbags
i10 has keyless entry
i10 has push button start
i like its interiors. i mean i20 has some chrome bits which looks very cheap. i guess it is mostly because grande is a newer car so just looks more contemporary. of course it's subjective.
i10 has manual AC
regular audio parking sensors

i20 has one airbag
i20 has that led light thing that looks cool at nights
regular central locking and key
i20 has climate control thing
i20 has auto wipers. headlights are manual.
of course it is slightly larger in size so a bit more spacious inside
it also has camera instead of audio sensors.

i prefer the dashboard of i10 compared to i20. i do not like the new design of i20 from the front.

price difference... it's around 30K. i10 is around 5.88 lakhs. i20 is around 6.15 lakhs. i mean it's not exactly the same range but the next variants of both the models are way way expensive. engine is same on both.
apart from dash board everything goes i20 way , keyless entry can be fitted on i20 which u know
choose i20 , its spacious so u wont regret later , once u start using i20 , u will start to like the front design too !!

yep , passenger airbag starts from i20 Asta which would be around 6.8 L i think
u have selected top end i10 and moderate i20 models !!

That's why still preferring i10 personally.

Both cars have ABS? That would also be a good feature for driving in city.
Also, now this is a really useful addition-I guess i20 has disc brakes on all four wheels, while i10 has only in the front two.

ABS is in both. Hyundai website does not mention any details about disc breaks. I am already way over budget with i10 asta option. i20 sportz is already adding to that complication. am probably sticking with i10... cannot ignore the missing second airbag. that is quite important to me.

If you are open to 2 door options, then Beat is a neat thing.

I have a Santro and an Indigo CS. Have decided that whenever I buy my next, it's gonna be a compact sedan or hatch and a petrol version. No diesel plz. The smoothness in the ride vanishes after 2yrs. The 8yr old Santro is smoother.
I am going to assume Indico CS has a Fiat engine?
