I have old data one wired modem from bsnl, will tenda wireless home router work with it?

I actually have little knowledge of how wireless home router works.

I already have a modem ( with ADSL in, ethernet out )
so the ethernet of modem I have to insert in this wireless router?

and then I will have wifi?

Is that correct? this is the role of wireless router? to make existing modems, wireless?

Yes it would work fine.

Yes it will work. You have to take Ethernet from ADSL modem and insert it into blue Ethernet port of WiFi router.

But instead of buying a WiFi router why not buy WiFi ADSL Modem? This way you do not have to use two devices at the same time. Just put the ADSL WiFi modem somewhere in the corner of your house/office. Keep it neat and clean.

thanks mate, i already bought Tenda router ( it is working like a charm )
there is also 300mbps modem router from Digisol on snapdeal for just around 1200/-
