I want to buy a Water Heater (Geyser)

What are the good recommendations in 2023 for Geysers?
I want to use it for shower. For 4 members. Would love if Geyser had App or Remote to control or Digital display. Customer service should be great.

also for timer I use a Qubo 16 amp plug it works flawlessly.
racold is a very trusted brand worldwide dont go with vguard and crompton ever they were never supposed to be in this segment.

@Sushubh have you ever got your geyser serviced? [ in the sense got its heating rod changed?] or ever got its tank cleaned?
mine has started to give water in drops.

not on aosmith. but older geysers have seen the heating rods replaced. sometimes it works fine for a few years. sometimes it does not so basically all geysers on my floor are now ao smith. which i imagine won't accept the locally available parts

no tank clean. once the electrician was doing something with a really old model and ended up splashing himself up with acid. not sure what he was doing with acid. but after that i just rejected the idea of getting geysers repaired locally. none of the ao smith models have had any issues so far. though one particular unit ends up blowing up the power switch quite regularly.

that one blowing up the power switch is due to your faulty board / wires / mcb or your geyser shortcircuits sometimes,
nah mine havells technician told me to get the tank cleaned said hard water deposits is making it give less water.
never faced this in racold ones.

no idea. it was happening on the old geyser. and it is happening with ao smith. someone else would have to recommend about hard water related issues in a geyser.

You can check the TDS levels yourself. If the technician is suggesting a tank clean up, it won't be too difficult to see if the water is causing issues.

Hard water is known to cause issues with geysears such as sedimentation and corrosion.

there is hard water issue surely tds is 450-550. will get the tank opened then. thanks

I ended up buying V-Guard Victo DG 15, in Diwali sale (around 6.5k). Haven't faced any issue yet. Service is also good in our area. Let's see
