We get water from the government supply, so the TDS levels are pretty alright.

Instead of getting an RO purifier, I am thinking of getting a UF and UV water filter.

Any recommendations?

My parents moved to a new house recently and the TDS was 150 so RO wasn’t needed

I had ordered this for them, they are happy with it

I have moved to a different place, and the TDS levels here are quite high, exceeding 700.

I am in search of a high-capacity RO purifier that operates quietly during its operation.

This kent model does not seem to have boosted pump so if you are living on 3 rd or 4th floor and water supply is of municipal then good luck getting purifier to work

Right, the TDS would be lower in your area. Here's it over 700 on an average making it critical to have RO. Pureit appears to have maintenance costs around 5k, and I'm fairly certain it would require service twice a year.

Most 1 ratings are for the same reason. Lol

I have TDS around 500 so using the Livpure RO on a rental basis. Costs ~500/month with no additional costs.
I am using the RO Bolt one. Servers pretty good for me.

Bought this about a week ago Amazon.in with bank offer price was about 10k but external filter and diverter valve will cost another 1500-2k

The whole RO business is a scam just forcing unnecessary maintenance after fixed time regardless if required or not. Selling filter at 3x markup.

I would prefer LG with SS tank but it felt too expensive for my usage. Any brand you buy minimum it will cost 5-7k for filters and maintenance every year.

Weird thing about this Havells RO is my inlet/tap water has only TDS of 300 but the discarded water from RO has TDS of 450 o_O

Also checkout UC Native RO it requires less maintenance. I would have bought this but it doesn't dispense water without electricity, even when water is available in storage tank.
Best value for money would be a locally assembled one if you can find a reliable supplier.
