ICICI has updated their credit card UPI Payment QR Code format

so, the upi id for bill payment is failing for me today. hard to tell why that could happen. i did get a new card this month but the number on both are same.

this seems to be not working at the moment. does not generate qr code. it was working when i was trying that day. i guess not updated yet coz it definitely generated the old format qr code and it failed for me.

generated the qr code manually using one of the websites. seems to be showing my name. karein test payment next month before actual payment.

i received this months bill and they have changed the QR code to the one I said. So it is safe to go.

they really should update their website when they make a change like this.

Make UPI payment from any UPI-enabled app/Bharat Interface for Money (BHIM) app to ICICI Bank Virtual Payment Address (VPA) : ccpay.<16-digit Credit Card number>@icici (For ICICI Bank American Express Cards, prefix ‘0’ before the Credit Card number.

statement does have the correct qr code as mentioned above.
