from what i know this feature uses some of the newer html5 stuff. opera 12 probably has support for it. ie8 unlikely.

It doesn't work on Opera. It is at best an experimental feature considering HTML5 is really not a standard.

Actually I tried the Paste option. Let me also verify the drag and drop. Opera does support that normallyYep, drag and drop is working, not the paste from clipboard.

lol. it asks for permission before the uploading begins at my end. maybe an optional setting.

Did anyone facing issue while uploading images now a days via imgur. I am facing a lot of issues. Even Upload via Email is not working most of the times. So, I have to depend upon tinypic in imgur annoyance. Also, do we have any better alternative of imgur ??

imgbox.com is a good one. stay away from tinypic. they kill images that attract too much traffic. do remove their signature link if you are going to use it! i hate that. images are already linked to their domain. adding an extra link is asking too much for what they are offering.
