well. whether you or me like it or not... imgur has pivoted from being an image hosting service to a image sharing based social network. the focus is not on offering hotlinked image support. but a place to share and discuss images. at least they retain the basic elements of the original service for which i still use it today.

I really dont mind it , infact its a welcome move. But if at all there is separate page for upload , which is clean and simple (Even the current online upload pop-up is confusing) , i would directly use that page , instead of the current FP

What I know of Alan, he would not sell and alienate his user base.
Imgur today is bigger than Reddit. Yahoo would have to shell out a lot of money for it.
Imgurians are already annoyed with these reports. I would be quite sad if a deal takes place.
Imgur is profitable. Has not even needed Venture Capital. Users are loyal. Should stick on their course. There is absolutely no competition to worry about.

Well for a $1 Billion its not very hard decision to make when everyone is not like Snapchat's Evan Spiegel declining to $3B from Facebook.

I would be fine if Yahoo give Imgur 1 billion dollars. For that money, I would not mind at all.
Though I still doubt Alan would sell out.
